Two honors for L’Oréal’s purchasing

L’Oréal Purchasing won two trophies at the Procurement Trophy Ceremony.

More than 800 people were invited to the event organized by the French association of Purchasing, including Mr Hervé Novelli, Secretary of State in the French Government and Mr. JC Volot, Industrial Mediator for the Government and President of APCE. The two trophies won by L'Oreal were:

  • Purchasing and Innovation
  • Grand prix for Purchasing Management and Team of the Year
The Awards recognize initiatives that are seen as role models in terms of Purchasing Policies within companies and organizations. The main objectives are to promote best purchasing practices and to recognize Procurement Directors and Teams who are seen as the most innovative and performing, across 7 main categories, via a thorough selection process led by a high level of professionals. This year, the jury includes among others: the CPO of ACCOR, SNCF, BOUYGES, ADP, FRANCE TELEVISION... At the end of the preliminary phase, 23 submissions (3 from L'Oréal) passed the final oral examination with the Jury. The companies that were finalists included: ALLIANZ, SUEZ ENVIRONMENT, 3M, THALES, VEOLIA, LA POSTE... Two of the three submissions from L'Oréal were honored:
  • "CHERRY PACK" in the Innovation Purchasing category
  • "L'OREAL ONE VOICE" that acknowledges the Purchasing Director and his/her Team, of the year
These Awards are a direct recognition of the French Procurement community towards the professionalism of L'Oréal Purchasing worldwide, in particular for the implementation of "L'Oreal One Voice" across our Sourcing Centers and our 6 purchasing areas.
